Aloo Shimla Mirch (Potato with Green Pepper)


Nutritious quick side dish recipe.

Ingredients:
3 Capsicum ( Green Pepper) cut into 1”square pieces
2 medium Potato cut into 1” square pieces
1 small onion thinly sliced
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
2 tbsp cooking oil

Method:
Cook capsicum and potato separately in microwave.
Heat oil in a skillet. Fry onion slices till golden brown. Stir in potato,capsicum pieces. Sprinkle red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and chaat masala.
Stir well. Serve hot with dal and roti ( Indian Flat Bread).

Do You Know: Green peppers are unripe bell peppers. Because they are unripe, they are less sweet and slightly more bitter than yellow, orange, purple or red peppers.
